Then this is a unique opportunity to join a major investment programme in Novo Nordisk as Senior Strategy Partner. Apply now! The Position As Senior Strategy Partner you will play a key role in defining the strategic direction of the global capex expansion programme: Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) and the global FFEx Project Management Office (PMO) organisation. You will need to understand the business case and rationale behind the expansion programme, how changes to the business impacts the FFEx programme and projects, and how programme and project changes impacts the business. You need to facilitate strong collaboration between the expansion programme and the Novo Nordisk supply chain on strategic direction of the programme. You will deliver analysis and insights to ensure well-founded decision-making and strategic direction at all levels, including senior management. You might also lead internal initiatives and assessments of e.g., unit cost, manning schedules etc in close collaboration with project controls, site projects, line of business and other relevant stakeholders. In your role you will also be supporting approval processes for our global capex investment programmes and projects all the way through to executive management approval. You will engage with Project VPs, our SVP, project members, project controls teams and other key stakeholders to deliver high quality material to senior management. You will need to understand programme and project performance to inform management timely and to understand impact across. Your main tasks include:
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the FFEx strategy and the PMO strategy.
• Conduct thorough business case analyses and strategic initiatives to support investment decisions.
• Drive key analytical initiatives and recommendations across the programme (e.g., unit cost, owners cost). Focus on optimization and efficiency of our internal processes.
• Identify, develop and deploy required improvements to ensure programme efficiency and progress.
• Provide ad hoc support to Global PMO.
Qualifications Ideally, you have the following qualifications or similar:
• Master in a relevant field (engineering, business administration, economics, science or similar), and a minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience within complex project, programme and/or portfolio management (preferably capex)
• Extensive experience in project management/advisory/strategy/management consulting.
• Thorough understanding of the supply chain (preferably Novo Nordisk supply chain)
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and qualitative problem-solving skills combined with track-record of driving strategic processes.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
You will also need to have strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex challenges/issues in a simple manner to diverse audiences and being able to work independently combined with a well-structured and inclusive way of working.
About the Department You will be part of the Strategy & Governance team which is placed centrally in the Project Management Office (PMO) in the Fill & Finish Expansion Programme (FFEx). You will report to the head of Strategy & Governance team. You will be part of a team that has the responsibility of establishing, organizing, and managing the strategy and governance processes across the FFEx Programme. The team is currently very small but will be expanding over the next half year. You will be part of shaping our ambition as a team, how we operate, our focus areas and key priorities.
