The Position As Senior Strategy Partner, you will play a key role in supporting approval processes for our global capex investment programmes and projects all the way through to executive management approval. You will engage with Project VPs, our SVP, project members, project controls teams and other key stakeholders to deliver high quality material to senior management. You will also be responsible for following up on actions from senior management and ensuring timely, high-quality and fact-based responses to these with input from various stakeholders across our organisation. You will also drive senior management reporting, ensuring it is aligned across our programme and project portfolio. You will be part of defining the standard for management reporting, including an efficient monthly process, and supporting systems and tools. Moreover, you will facilitate the monthly process of preparing the management report in close collaboration with the Systems & Reporting team. To succeed in your role, you will need to engage with the capex projects to understand how they are progressing and to translate that into executive reporting, including how project performance potentially impacts other parts of the business and the business case. You will most likely also drive various strategic projects/initiative/analysis to provide insight to management into how we perform, the benefits we deliver etc. Your main tasks include:
• Maintain portfolio oversight and drive initiatives and tasks across the programme. Drive decision processes including planning agendas, following up on actions etc.
• Prepare high quality decision material for management and ensure key stakeholder alignment
• Conduct strategic and tactical analysis’ in a global context on cost, risk, scope, roll-out planning or other key aspects
• Provide and communicate strategic insights to senior management based on facts and insights gathered across the programme.
• Drive initiatives to strengthen governance and programme reporting. Qualifications Ideally, you have the following qualifications or similar:
• Master in a relevant field (engineering, business administration, economics, science or similar).
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience within complex project, programme and/or portfolio management (preferably capex) or management consulting.
• Strategic and analytical mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex challenges/issues in a simple manner to diverse audiences.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Strong personal drive, work independently and can take charge of driving initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
You will also need to have a well-structured way of working, and good at designing and facilitating efficient processes across the organisation.
About the Department You will be part of the Strategy & Governance team which is placed centrally in the Project Management Office (PMO) in the Fill & Finish Expansion Programme. You will report to the head of Strategy & Governance team. You will be part of a team that has the responsibility of establishing, organizing, and managing the strategy and governance processes across the FFEx Programme. The team is currently very small but will be expanding over the next half year. You will be part of shaping our ambition as a team, how we operate, our focus areas and key priorities.
