Study Programmes, Global Medical Affairs (GMA) is part of the R&D organisation in Novo Nordisk, one of the world’s most successful pharmaceutical companies and the market leader within diabetes care and obesity and exciting development programmes in other serious chronic diseases. GMA is responsible for driving the scientific dialogue with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
The position
As Senior Global SRR Manager you will become a key member of a global team with experienced project managers from many different countries and backgrounds.
You will be part of a highly impactful cross functional team, formulating and executing trial strategies to ensure successful recruitment and retention of participants in our most important clinical trials.
You will be responsible for securing external insights are factored into the development and implementation of scientific communication, recruitment and retention tools and educational materials for participants and site staff in the trials. We call it Scientific Recruitment and Retention Programmes (SRR).
At the global level you will become a key contributor to the global activities, ensuring that the SRR programme accommodates the needs and requirements of affiliates involved in the study. You will collaborate closely with our affiliates on implementation of SRR in the trial-participating countries and ensure motivation is high.
You will engage with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and several external vendors, and you will have ample opportunities to influence our deliverables, enhance our processes and identify new ways of achieving goals.
This is the ideal position for a science-driven professional with project management experience and a well-developed strategy and communication toolbox, who wishes to drive high impact projects in Novo Nordisk R&D.
Please note that the position is based in Søborg, Denmark. Approximately 10-20 travel days a year should be expected.
Qualifications
You have a business or science degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) combined with 8+ years of relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in both global and local roles.

You are motivated by ambitious targets, and you can structure and translate data into knowledge and clear communication to facilitate decision making and project progress. As a person, you are ambitious, flexible and have a strong drive for taking initiative and working both as a dedicated team player as well as independently.

- Advanced experience in driving complex projects of a strategic nature
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with many key stakeholders up to senior management level
- Advanced experience in clinical or medical projects, preferably related to Cardiology and/or Cardiovascular Outcomes Trials, including patient engagement
- Curiosity and passionate about improvements and continually identifying opportunities for development of your deliverables
- Ability to influence your stakeholders through building trusting relationships
- Flair for integrating communication and change management perspectives into any project execution
- Experience in communication disciplines, on- and offline
- Fluent in English
