As a part of the transformation, we are seeking an exceptional candidate for a UX designer role within the Maersk Design System team – based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Design System team is an established multi-disciplined team in Maersk Technology with the vision to strengthen Maersk as a digital company by empowering teams to design and build the future of logistics with simple, consistent, and beautiful user experiences for our customers and our internal colleagues.

Key responsibilities:
As a UX Designer, you will work closely together with other UX and visual designers, as well as the wider product team, to shape a world-class design system. A key part of your work will be collaborating with other product teams and stakeholders across the organization to ensure a design system that is based not only on UX best practices but also on real-world business contexts and user needs.
We are looking for:
- 2-3 years of experience as a UX designer – in-house or at an agency
- Practical experience designing great digital UX experiences
- Hands-on experience with design tools e.g. Figma or Sketch
- Able to translate user insights and best practice research into a concrete UI design
- A user-centric mindset and approach to your designs
- An open and collaborative mindset
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
- Experience working in a digital product team is a plus
- Experience working in a bigger international company is useful
