What you will do:
Co-create with the Senior Engineering Manager in creating positive culture across the team
Have passion for the team and team members’ success Maintain high morale and motivating the delivery team to go above and beyond
Oversee Portal (Frontend/Design/Integration) or API (Backend) development teams
Help define non-functional requirements and ensure delivery of those
Proactive in foreseeing issues and resolve it before it happens
Empower the delivery team to self-organize
Drive compatibility across teams and platform and that solutions are optimized for speed, scalability and reusability
Vocally advocating for technical excellence and helping the teams make good decisions
Participating in architecture discussions and planning
Maintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity
Leading lean thinking across teams focusing on removal of waste in process and handoff points across the lifecycle
Defining of KPI framework and metrics reporting, using metrics to define success and adoptability of features; reporting on team effectiveness (time to value, release cadence)
Is responsible for the personal development and evaluation of team members, based on input from key stakeholders
What skills are we looking for:
Experience in industry building successful API Developer Portals or API Products with a distinguished track record.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills
Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, leading full-stack teams, cloud infrastructure and data science technologies
Track-record of embedding design thinking and customer centricity in product development by adopting zero-based design, multivariant testing and user research.
Leading technical global remote teams Java, Springboot, React Native, Vue.Js, Logic Apps and technologies like Git, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Aha.
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and project management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Build strategic working relationships, provide thought leadership and influence others.
Executing vision strategies into code.
Leading by example and working with a large workforce working across geographies.
