Are you a third year Bachelor or first year Master student looking for an opportunity to gain experience in an international organisation, working with highly talented and engaged colleagues?
Would you like to have some hands-on operational experiences coupled with the opportunity to use your excellent analytical skills?
We are looking for a Student Assistant to work across functions.
Supporting tasks ranging from operational HR support and a variety of administrative tasks.
You will be embedded with the new Marine HR Team who work with our 12,000 seafaring colleagues across the globe. You will be providing support primarily to the HR and IT functions with a range of operational and analytical tasks.
You will also provide ad hoc support to the wider leadership team across a range of administrative tasks.
This is your chance to develop practical HR and service experience. You will have the opportunity to improve your interpersonal and communication skills by interacting with senior stakeholders and sparring with cutting edge thinkers in the area of Marine HR.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to get close to and understand how the management of one of the most agile and dynamic companies of the A.P. Moller Maersk Group operates.
The role is based at our HQ in Esplanaden and the working hours are 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility during exam and project periods.

You will help provide smooth operational HR support to the business, helping our leaders navigate:
• Recruitment administration and administering personnel assessments
• Ensuring that employee records are updated, in collaboration with our global HR support team
• Follow-up on core HR processes: hires, transfers, movements etc.
• Prepare reports on training needs and training coverage
• Assist with content management on our learning management platform
• Support tender process in relation to vendor selection
• Ensuring training schedules are maintained, in collaboration with our regional training managers.
You will also be responsible for various other ad hoc administration tasks in support of the HQ management team.
You are currently studying for a relevant degree, for example, in Work & Organisational Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Resources, Management or something else applicable.
We would like you to bring concrete skills in some or all of the following:
• Excel and PowerPoint wizardry, particularly with visual presentation of data
• Qualitative data analysis (e.g. NVivo, MaxQDA)
• Quantitative data analysis (e.g. R, SPSS)
• Collaborative tools (e.g. Miro, Mentimeter)
• Learning platforms (e.g. WorkDay, Cornerstone)
You are a natural problem-solver, and a service-minded individual who enjoys working with other talented and focused people.
You are at ease in managing multiple and changing priorities and stakeholders and can keep a good overview even during busy periods.
You are a fast learner and have a strong sense of urgency and drive to deliver quality in your work - all at the same time.
Danish language is not required. English is our working language - also in the office – so a high level of fluency in spoken and written English is required.
