Group Technology (GT) is executing CAPEX projects and commissioning world class production equipment and factories of the ROCKWOOL Group. Our aim is to have the most competitive and flexible production platform in the industry while delivering top class quality under safe conditions.
You will be part of the Cold End & Systems Solutions team, the Competence Centre for the production technology and processes for the Cold End and Off-line production lines.
As Project Engineer E in Cold End & Systems Solutions you will work in all phases of a project, from concept study through specification and design to test, commissioning and after service.
You will be part of projects and activities which needs to be supported by a solid technical know-how. Your technical know-how and experience will be relevant in driving the activities and in analysing the possible solutions.
Your assignments can vary from small machine deliveries and engineering support to participation in large "Green Field" factory projects on a global scale – mainly in Europe, Asia and North America.
You should expect around 60-80 travel days per year.
A degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical design and technology development.
We expect that you have the following experiences and qualities:
• Experienced in designing, implementing and installing equipment on production facilities
• Understanding of complex production processes such as knowledge of production flow, driving factors and constraints
• Process understanding to enable analysis and problem solving
• Being both quality and result oriented with a high standard in your deliveries
• Being a team player, but also able to work independently
• Able to deal with deviations in your daily plan, high degree of flexibility and being perseverant
• Pro-active in regards of gaining knowledge and initiating the required actions
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional language like German would be an advantage
• Have a brought knowledge from HW design till PLC software. In ROCKWOOL we use EPlan, Siemens S7/TIA, Lenze, Danfoss, ABB
• Sound knowledge of IT as, Office 365, Sharepoint
