You will join our “Factory of the Future” team of specialists within Group R&D. We are a team of passionate, skilled and knowledgeable colleagues who develop & implement the newest technologies for stone wool production. The “Factory of the Future” team is recently established with the aim of upgrading our production facilities with best in class OT & IT Solutions. We are proud to be word leaders in our industry, and we work hard to stay in this position.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager or lead engineer with an OT & IT background with a proven track record of successful projects. The main project from the start will be implementing a warehouse control system in one of our factories. This project is closely coordinated with a warehouse management system and include interfaces to among others AGVs, label printing and tracking systems.
Your technical background and experience will be relevant in driving the activities and in analysing possible solutions. We work with development, implementation and test of OT & IT Solutions for the ROCKWOOL Group. The Factory of the Future team will form the basis of OT & IT Strategies and Architectures to benefit the ROCKWOOL Group. We work in projects and base our solutions on a deep understanding of our production processes – and if standard components are not available, we develop our own.
Doing so, you will collaborate closely with a broad range of colleagues – from our lab to production sites across the Globe. Therefore, you can expect to travel approx. 60 days a year, e.g. when visiting other offices or factories to perform on-site testing.

Moreover, you can navigate in a project based matrix organisation while using your Project Manager skills to the limit. To truly make an impact, we imagine that you bring:
• Degree in Electrical, Process, Automation, IT, OT or similar
• 5+ years’ experience as an Automation Lead Engineer
• 10+ years’ experience with project management
• Proven track record of well-run projects in a Global organisation
As a person you:
• Are self-motivating, self-starting and have excellent planning skills
• Have leadership and management skills
• Have intercultural experience and is strong in both written and spoken English
• Communicate in a clear and direct manner
• Use your impact to reach the results
