About the department

Safety Surveillance is a department within Global Safety and is situated in Bagsværd, Denmark. Our team of dedicated and skilled professionals has global responsibility for surveillance of all safety information for Novo Nordisk’s products that are currently marketed or under development.

The position

You will be the training coordinator for all training across Safety Surveillance. This responsibility includes maintaining and hosting an effective on-boarding program for new employees, optimising training of existing employees (e.g. knowledge sharing, PV refresher training) and coordinating training of colleagues from other functions in Safety Surveillance processes, e.g. affiliate training. You will also coordinate planning, conduct and follow-up on monthly Safety Surveillance Forum meetings.

Furthermore, you will drive regulatory surveillance related to safety surveillance processes, where you coordinates Safety Surveillance input to and impact assessment of upcoming legislation, coordinates Safety Surveillance responses to benchmarking requests, represents Safety Surveillance is cross-functional task forces e.g. on complex process updates, and supports the affiliates in relation to interpretation of local legislation relevant for Safety Surveillance.

You will also act as back-up for the key responsible for Safety Surveillance contribution to Audits and Inspections and will therefore play a central role in PV audits and inspections.

You will get the opportunity both to work independently and in collaboration with a team of highly skilled, committed and enthusiastic colleagues. Assuming responsibility, communicating information and taking action will be essential parts of your workday.

You will have a close collaboration and interaction with other functional areas in Novo Nordisk especially Regulatory Affairs, Global Development and the Affiliates, and it will give you an extensive insight to the whole Novo Nordisk organisation.

Qualifications

You have a University degree in e.g. medical/ veterinarian/ odontology/ biological/ pharmaceutical science. You preferably have solid experience within pharmacovigilance and regulatory surveillance.

As a person you have a strong analytical and quality mind-set, work independently, are well-organised and a strong communicator. You can work under pressure when needed. You are a strong collaborator and a dedicated team player who thrives in a multicultural environment of continuous development, and you are good at establishing contact and collaborating with stakeholders.

You are fluent in English both written and spoken (company language) and an experienced user of MS Office.
