The center Applied Thermodynamics – Center for Chemical Resources Engineering at DTU Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark invites applications for positions as Laboratory technician.
The Center’s work relies on laboratory experiments in a wide variety of areas, but with a focus on high pressure equipment and applications in the area of carbon capture and storage.
The job
Your role will be to support the experimental research and teaching program in the center, as part of a team of three lab technicians. We expect to hire at least one person for tasks such as:
PVT experience:
GLP and lab maintenance:
Electrical knowledge:

Salary and appointment terms
Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK/stat) signed with the Danish Ministry of Finance.
The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The position is permanent. Expected starting date 1 March 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The job
Your role will be to support the experimental research and teaching program in the center, as part of a team of three lab technicians. We expect to hire at least one person for tasks such as:
PVT experience:
- Performing high pressure experiments in a range of equipment (PVT, core flooding, phase equilibrium, gas hydrates)
- Performing experiments related to carbon capture and storage
- CT-scanning of core samples and other objects
- Support teaching activities especially in the area of colloid and interface science
GLP and lab maintenance:
- Ordering and registration of chemicals
- Ordering equipment and assistance with its installation
- Responsibility for laboratory safety.
- Maintenance of laboratory procedures and documents
Electrical knowledge:
- Electrical wiring, PLC and electrical cabinet development
- Maintenance of lab setups: sensor calibration and data acquisition
- Support on both small scale electrical issues and large scale pilot electricity
- Procurement of electrical units
