The position
The Customer Insights function drives market research for Business Development opportunities and across the product lifecycle from early pipeline to in-market products e.g. preference share market research, key message testing, drivers and barriers market research etc.

The Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD) Insights & Forecasting department is part of the OSCD Commercial Unit which consists of four therapeutic areas: Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Liver Disease (incl. Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis), and Alzheimer’s Disease.
The team is responsible for bringing patient- and Healthcare professional (HCP)-level insights into core decisions for strategic brands, patient access and Research & Development. We work as insights partners across Commercial Strategy Corporate Affairs and Operations and generate insights through market research and patient and physician data analyses.
The team composition is highly skilled experts with a commercial/business/consulting background and different nationalities. We are 4 people in Denmark and 1 in Bangalore. You will have the opportunity to join an international, high-performing team.

The position
The Customer Insights function drives market research for Business Development opportunities and across the product lifecycle from early pipeline to in-market products e.g. preference share market research, key message testing, drivers and barriers market research etc.
Your key areas of responsibility are:
- Lead quantitative and qualitative market research projects, generate customer insights, and provide strategic and tactical recommendations for key brands in Novo Nordisk, early pipeline and Business development opportunities
- Lead the insights generation process annually for key brands to prepare for the annual brand strategy update as well as provide recommendations for the yearly global market research plan
- Provide management with “best in class” customer insights analysis to enable strategic and operational decision-making
- Drive learnings across the team and key departmental processes to improve the insights generated
- Coaching junior colleagues and leading best practice for onboarding and training them
Furthermore, you are expected to maintain a strong business relationship with global brand teams, market access, and key affiliates.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
- Master’s degree in business, economics, social sciences, or similar
- +8 years of experience in working with quantitative and qualitative market research projects
- Strong analytical skills to derive insights to impact global strategies with the ability to challenge and refine assumptions
- Ability to effectively communicate results to stakeholders at various levels
- Fluency in written and spoken English with strong communication capabilities
Moreover, you have solid project and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional setting, including the ability to influence others. - Solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry or from market research agencies or management consulting firms with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in working with market research for Business Development opportunities
