The position
As Senior Scientist within Product Compatibility, you will be setting the direction, evaluate suitability of new materials, design and document laboratory studies related to product compatibility within production materials, primary packaging, and insulin pumps across our portfolio of injectable products!

About the department
The team is located in Product Supply, Injectable Finished Products (IFP). New Product introduction (NPI) is a part of Injectable Finished Products (IFP), Manufacturing Development, and consists of approximately 65 employees divided between 5 teams. We are based in Bagsværd, DK. The main responsibility of NPI is the transition of development products into large scale production. This includes process design, material and process sciences, product stability, and coordination of production for late-phase clinical trials.
You will become part of the Product Compatibility Team, a group of 16 highly skilled employees - both Scientists and Laboratory Technicians. The team is a cross-organisational competence centre responsible for product compatibility across our portfolio of injectable products.

The position
As Senior Scientist within Product Compatibility, you will be setting the direction, evaluate suitability of new materials, design and document laboratory studies related to product compatibility within production materials, primary packaging, and insulin pumps across our portfolio of injectable products!

- Designing the compatibility and insulin pump studies, including monitoring, trending stability and reporting on insulin pump and products.
- Preparing documentation such as study reports and protocols.
- Preparing external documentation of productions materials, primary packaging and pump in-use for submission.
This will be in a close collaboration with colleagues in the department and will work cross functionally with various stakeholders across departments and productions sites.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, your experience includes:
- BSc MSc or PhD within Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or other relevant academic area.
- Experience within production/ aseptic production, manufacturing within a GMP or highly regulated environment.
- Material knowledge such as polymers, it is advantageous if you have experience within product compatibility and extratables & leachables
- Experience/knowledge with stability studies
- Preparing regulatory documentation
