If yes, you may be our new Associate Project Manager, an exciting position where you contribute to influencing the future of external production in Novo Nordisk.
The position
As Associate Project Manager you will support the Senior Project Managers in the execution of global strategic projects, e.g. as track lead, and/or establishing project plans, arranging work-shops, mapping stakeholders etc. You will maintain and develop the project toolbox like risk process, stakeholder management and communication plans. You will support the project team with cLEAN support and ensure an optimal cross-functional team collaboration across projects.

About the department
Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) is a unit in Novo Nordisk Product Supply organisation and responsible for Novo Nordisk`s operation of global manufacturing of drug substance and drug products at Contract manufactures. Our main office is located in Bagsværd, Denmark where approx. 130 people are based. The primary role of GCM is to establish, monitor, support and control the production handled by Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs). We operate in many countries, e.g., USA, Belgium, Italy and China.
You will join the department GCM Projects, which is responsible for both controlling the project portfolio and executing the projects in the portfolio.

The position
As Associate Project Manager you will support the Senior Project Managers in the execution of global strategic projects, e.g. as track lead, and/or establishing project plans, arranging work-shops, mapping stakeholders etc. You will maintain and develop the project toolbox like risk process, stakeholder management and communication plans. You will support the project team with cLEAN support and ensure an optimal cross-functional team collaboration across projects.
Tasks included, but not limited to:
- Support the PM’s and the project teams with effective project execution.
- Support the project teams in cLEAN disciplines like A3’s and value stream mapping.
- Acting as Project manager for internal project or tracks in the CMO projects
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Support and back-up for our project portfolio manager in the making the project portfolio overview and servicing the cross-organizational governance bodies.
Qualifications
You are a dynamic person who is motivated by a busy and changing environment. You are pro-active and self-driven.
In addition, you have following qualifications:
- You hold an academic degree within e.g., Pharmacy, or similar.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical production
- You have worked in large organizations with many stakeholders, preferably within project management area
- Acted as project manager
- You have your cLEAN or lean toolbox in place, and are experienced in systematic problem solving/A3 and value stream mapping
- IT proficiency and skilled within NN standards
- Proficiency in English
Further, you have the ability to work proactively in a complex and busy environment.
