Associate Global Project Director to drive strategic commercial partnerships in OSCD

The position

The Associate Global Project Director (AD) has the responsibility to drive strategic commercial partnership assessment projects across OSCD and inform key decisions to maximise the commercial value of the assets in OSCD. You will work closely with Vice Presidents (VP’s) and Commercial Directors in NASH, Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). The role will report to the VP NASH.

The job contains the following key areas:

  • Commercial partnership OSCD framework (therapy area specificity is also a consideration as therapy areas are distinct)
  • Driving strategic commercial partnership assessments with operations and global finance partners and defining Profit & Loss and other relevant for evaluations and governance
  • Ensuring and driving next steps commercially in partnership with global Business Development to get the partnership approved
  • Once partnership deal is signed, drive next steps along with the commercial VP/Director in the Therapy Area
  • Initiating large scale/complex projects, with higher internal and external impact
  • Supporting decision-making and internal prioritisation discussion


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or another relevant field combined with 7+ years’ of relevant experience
  • Strong issue-driven problem-solving to foster strong scope management and designing project approach and development of business cases
  • Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities and ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to set direction and lead cross-functional work across the value chain
  • Insights into biomarkers and diagnostic ecosystem
  • Strong drive and execution power and experience high profile projects, governance memos, and interactions

It is an advantage to have previous experience in:

  • Hepatology and gastroenterology and/or NASH, AD and CVD
  • Model assessment and alliance partnership

As a person, you have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You possess high intellectual capacity and have a strong personal drive and dedication. Assertive and able to ensure progress in a difficult stakeholder landscape. Strong communicator and are fluent in English. Further, you should thrive in a changing environment with a positive attitude even with pressure and pace.

About the department

You will be anchored in the NASH Commercial Unit, a unit being part of the SVP area OSCD consisting of NASH, CVD, AD, and Chronic Kidney Disease, co-located and based in Søborg, Denmark.

The OSCD department is a very dynamic and diverse department, where we embrace new ways of working, set high standards, and have focus on feedback and link this to personal and professional development. We are currently 68 people working across the therapeutic areas, and you will also be joining an area having social events, and having fun while working.
