The job
As the Lead Architect, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing the architectural vision and execution, communicating, and driving the technical product delivery as well as contributing to Agile Release Train (ART) events.
You will be working both independently and in close collaboration with Product Management, System Architects, Release Train Engineers, Business Owners as well as other Stakeholders and Line of Business globally.
We expect you to think on behalf of users at the production lines and how we can add value to and support them in their daily work.
Your qualifications
The department
The position is based in DD&IT – Production Infrastructure - an area with 90+ employees distributed across Denmark and India, fully managing Novo Nordisk’s internal dedicated production IT infrastructure network called PSNet. The purpose of our work is to support the digital infrastructure on each of Novo Nordisk production sites globally, making sure that the production lines are up and running seamlessly, continuously and secure.
We collaborate and co-create closely with colleagues across Novo Nordisk globally. We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to successfully deliver projects. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our organisation, and our IT projects will be delivered according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations. We continuously develop our department and have a strong focus on ensuring it is a great place to work and have a strong focus on work/life balance. We are curious, share our learnings and celebrate our successes.

The job

Your qualifications
- You have a Bachelor (BSc.) or Master’s Degree (MSc.) in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
- Preferably, you have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, operations domain area, other IT technologies (e.g., covering networks, servers, platforms, applications, etc.)
- Strong experience in EA, Cloud, DevOps, IaC, CI/CD
- You are motivated by challenging assignments, you absorb new knowledge quickly, and you are always open for developing new competencies.
- Ability to orchestrate communication with stakeholders who hold limited in-depth IT knowledge
- Independence, cross-cultural understanding
- Fluency in written and spoken English are essential
- Preferably, experience in working within an Agile/SAFe framework
- Certain level of mobility, since occasional travel is expected in Denmark and globally
