The position
As Global Commercial Project Lead (Digital Strategy), you will set the direction of the digital strategy for CagriSema and work closely with the Project and Commercial Directors on various key deliverables to shape the future of this medicine.
The primary responsibility is to deliver on our ambitious long-term targets, including:
The Project Team is responsible for developing and executing the Life Cycle Management strategies for the injectable GLP-1 products including Ozempic® and Victoza® but your responsibility would be the future commercial angles of the pipeline (including Digital Strategy across inline brands and new).
You will be reporting to the Project Vice President (PVP) of Injectable GLP-1, who oversees both the short-term commercial and long-term product development strategies. This is done by working closely with regions, affiliates, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
We expect you to have an academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Medicine, or another relevant field. You also hold at least 5-8 years of experience working in either affiliate marketing teams, global or regional pharmaceutical roles. To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

Excellent organisational and proactive planning skills with a high degree of flexibility and can shoulder additional workload when necessary. You have a good sense of diplomacy whilst still assertive and able to ensure progress in a difficult stakeholder landscape. You have the ability to solve complex problems by getting to the core and clearly communicate scenarios as well as look for innovative solutions, impacts and recommendations to the decision makers.
As a person, you enjoy working with a cross-functional group and you are generally an optimistic individual with a high self-drive and energy level. You are known to have impact and a can-do attitude. You see opportunities, and you are eager to execute on your ideas.
About the department
You will join the Injectable GLP-1 Project Office which is part of the GLP-1 & Modern Non-Insulin Anti-Diabetic Drug Portfolio Unit in the Diabetes Unit within Novo Nordisk’s Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs Organisation. It is a driven, team-oriented, and international environment, and you will work with colleagues from headquarter and all over the world.
Currently 4,4 million people around the globe with T2D are treated with Ozempic® alone, with global sales in 2021 of Ozempic® and Victoza® being approximately 50 bDKK. We are looking to shape the future; with CagriSema having shown fantastic results in T2D we are now defining our future commercial strategy for this product and other exciting pipeline assets.

The position
As Global Commercial Project Lead (Digital Strategy), you will set the direction of the digital strategy for CagriSema and work closely with the Project and Commercial Directors on various key deliverables to shape the future of this medicine.
The primary responsibility is to deliver on our ambitious long-term targets, including:
- Own the strategy development to optimise the Digital framework for securing best practice digital strategy readiness at launch
- Work on securing the right commercial input to relevant topics (positioning, branding, competitive insights etc.) in the years leading up to launch for example through being part of large market research projects
- Collaborate closely with our operational units to secure we optimise the development to fit the needs of the markets once we get to launch CagriSema
- Contribute to various ad hoc projects based on opportunities arising from the quick changes in the competitive landscape and play a crucial role as commercial and strategic input giver, including the Product Development Plan
