The position
You will drive some of the key commercial tracks in relation to launching CagriSema in close alignment and collaboration with other team members who own other tracks of the pipeline project.
The primary responsibility is to deliver on our ambitious long-term targets, including:
The Project Team is responsible for developing and executing the Life Cycle Management strategies for the injectable GLP-1 products including Ozempic® and Victoza® but your responsibility would be the future commercial angles of the pipeline.
You will be reporting to the Project Vice President (PVP) of Injectable GLP-1, who oversees both the short-term commercial and long-term product development strategies. This is done by working closely with regions, affiliates, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
You have a relevant academic degree combined with proven operational and strategic marketing experience, solid commercial understanding, and a track record of successful innovative product positioning from at least 10+ years working in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, relevant project management experience with senior stakeholder involvement, preferably in both Headquarters and Operations/Affiliate is considered a strength.

About the department
You will join the Injectable GLP-1 Project Office which is part of the GLP-1 & Modern Non-Insulin Anti-Diabetic Drug Portfolio Unit in the Diabetes Unit within Novo Nordisk’s Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs Organisation. It is a driven, team-oriented, and international environment, and you will work with colleagues from headquarter and all over the world.
Currently 4,4 million people around the globe with T2D are treated with Ozempic® alone, with global sales in 2021 of Ozempic® and Victoza® being approximately 50 bDKK. We are looking to shape the future; with CagriSema having shown fantastic results in T2D we are now defining our future commercial strategy for this product and other exciting pipeline assets.

The position
You will drive some of the key commercial tracks in relation to launching CagriSema in close alignment and collaboration with other team members who own other tracks of the pipeline project.
The primary responsibility is to deliver on our ambitious long-term targets, including:
- Be the owner of the commercial input to relevant topics in the years leading up to launch
- Working closely with our operational units to secure we optimise the development to fit the needs of the markets once we get to launch CagriSema
- Securing cross-functional understanding of key drivers for building a global success story
- Positioning strategy in an ever more complicated and crowded external environment
- Overall project management responsibility of driving brand name process, colour selection etc. in close collaboration with colleagues representing other relevant indications to make sure we prepare the brands for the future in the best way possible
- Reporting status and progress of the projects to management, assuring necessary project team competencies and quality of deliverables, evaluating, and mitigating project risks, and assuring communication and engagement with both internal and external project stakeholders
- Contribute to various ad hoc projects based on opportunities arising from the quick changes in the competitive landscape and play a crucial role as commercial and strategic input giver, including the Product Development Plan

- Ability to drive multi-stakeholder projects forward despite different views and opinions is a must
- Good sense of diplomacy whilst still assertive and able to ensure progress in a complex stakeholder landscape
- Excellent communication skills with proficient written and spoken English
