The position Currently, Rybelsus® is commercially available in 37 countries with more launches to follow. The Global Marketing and the Global Project team are focusing on driving market expansion strategies, important life cycle management priorities, and long-term strategies including related tactics. The Associate Global Commercial Project Director is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the Rybelsus® cardiovascular strategy in T2D considering key life cycle management events for Rybelsus®, covering responsibilities both within the Global Marketing team of Rybelsus® (anchor of the position and reporting line) as well as the Global Project team supporting the Project Vice Principal (PVP) for Rybelsus®. Thus, you will get to work in parallel, on shaping the commercial strategy and deliverables for Rybelsus® related to cardiovascular data in T2D and cardiologists including guidance to operations, as well as drive cross-functional preparation with the whole development organization to support submission and approvals of the cardiovascular data. You will get an opportunity to address a key mid-term strategic priority and projects in very close collaboration with top 10 affiliates, regions, and business areas where Rybelsus® is a key priority in the coming years. The job contains the following key responsibilities: Submission and launch readiness preparation for a future label update including cross-functional project leadership and close collaboration with key markets Support identification of opportunities and/or data gaps that can strengthen Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) messaging and lead the implementation of those within the Project Team Ensure alignment of ASCVD strategy and communication across semaglutide portfolio (incl. obesity, T2D) Establishment of internal communication plans for the brand considering key life cycle management events Further develop the brand strategy for Rybelsus® in relation to cardiovascular messaging and other tactics considering key life cycle management events Opportunity sizing of the commercial potential of targeting cardiologists in key markets, development of the cardiologists strategy for Rybelsus®, and effectively manage financial deliverables of Rybelsus® budget You will collaborate with and provide support to affiliates, develop relationships, and secure engagement with internal and external stakeholders; and work with key markets to ensure optimal entry and development across the full Novo Nordisk Value Chain (Research Development, Product Supply, and Commercial). Moreover, you will report on Rybelsus® and present it in key strategic forums including senior management interactions.
Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have: Master’s Degree within a relevant area Significant proven experience in commercial cross-functional drug development with the pharma industry (preferably including post-launch setting) and demonstrated ability for portfolio-level thinking and strategy development Strong communication skills with fluent English Ability to set ambitious goals and execute against plans Strategic and analytical mindset It is an advantage to have: Experience within the cardiovascular therapy area International exposure in a large organization with affiliate commercial experience As a person, you have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You have strong personal drive and dedication. You are assertive and able to ensure progress in a difficult stakeholder landscape.
