Job Description
Would you like to play a key role in ensuring the delivery and support of software and hardware dedicated to O&G operations? And are you the one to make sure we act in line with business needs and in compliance with Total’s recommendations as well as local regulations? Key responsibilities
You will be accountable for the design and architecture of industrial devices including IIoT (Industrial 4.0) onshore and offshore. You will also be responsible for the licenses and software that come with the industrial systems. Specifically, you will ensure that all industrial systems, including IIoT, are connected to a network and properly handled – and troubleshoot when systems are failing. Furthermore, you will run and maintain our Industrial IT systems/software/physical devices offshore and onshore (excluding server infrastructure and real-time data historians).

As Senior Industrial Solutions Engineer in TEPDK, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence on our offshore-facing activities in terms of physical and logical industrial environments. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when you work closely together with our Senior Integrated Operations Specialist, the Engineering department and the Industrial Security Officer. Other stakeholders include offshore technicians and technical métiers.

Key responsibilities
You will be accountable for the design and architecture of industrial devices including IIoT (Industrial 4.0) onshore and offshore. You will also be responsible for the licenses and software that come with the industrial systems. Specifically, you will ensure that all industrial systems, including IIoT, are connected to a network and properly handled – and troubleshoot when systems are failing. Furthermore, you will run and maintain our Industrial IT systems/software/physical devices offshore and onshore (excluding server infrastructure and real-time data historians).
These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
- Being accountable for industrial CMDB and coordination between SAP, documentation systems and ServiceNow for the life cycle management of industrial IT equipment;
- Commenting on facility modification packages from engineering (as well as facility change proposals);
- Establishing 3rd party systems’ connections and data flows for remote operation/monitoring;
- Managing work orders in SAP and ensuring needed actions are taken in ServiceNow when industrial modifications are done;
- Specializing in industrial communication protocols as well as edge and centralized solutions (IIoT);
- License Management within Industrial – to ensure centralization where possible
- Being responsible for offshore physical industrial systems: WaveWarning, Weather systems & CCTV – and onshore physical industrial systems such as building access systems & CCTV;
- Participating in system and user acceptance testing efforts;
- Managing relationships with vendors, making sure all contractual terms are met.

Your background
- You have a degree in engineering (electrical, instrumentation, mechatronic) or similar – any technical certifications are a plus
- You have 10+ years of industrial experience with
- Instrumentation, control and safety systems including sensors, transmitters and the software necessary to control and monitor plant and equipment, and/or
- Manufacturing execution systems (MES) applications, real-time automation systems and production data management systems like SCADA
- You have proven planning and project management abilities
- You are fluent in English
