Overall, you have the responsibility of the chemical injection strategy, effectiveness and performance, this will include budgeting, reporting and contract owner functions.

On the Danish continental shelf, TOTAL Exploration & Production (TEPDK) operates 16 fields from 50 offshore platforms. The main manned platforms in year 2020 will be Dan, Halfdan and Gorm. The Tyra platforms will be under re-development for the whole year. As the Production Chemistry Engineer reporting directly to the Process, Flow Assurance and Chemistry Lead, you will be able to shape and develop a central role in Production Chemical application. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in managing the chemical budget and ensuring a continuous improvement of the chemical management strategy in all matters.

Key Responsibilities
Overall, you have the responsibility of the chemical injection strategy, effectiveness and performance, this will include budgeting, reporting and contract owner functions.

- Provide a Tier 1/Tier 2 assistance to Site, OOC and other departments when chemical injections are at stake with regards to flow assurance, integrity, upsets, environment, legislation, etc.
- Monitor and support environmental compliance
- Monitor daily consumption, daily performance and instruct the necessary adjustments
- Gather the Site Labs analysis and provide recommendations
- Focal for Chemical and Labs equipment, material and product
- Contract Owner for the Labs related Service Companies (including certification/compliance)
- Ensure a continuous improvement of the Chemical Injection strategy (cost, quantity, environment, efficiency, etc.) and organize/perform regular assessment and trials as required with Vendors, DSO and HQ
- Produce monthly reports including KPIs
- Manage the budget allocated to chemicals
- Ensure a good information flow between Process, Flow Assurance, HSE, Inspections, Labs and Site.

- Bachelor degree in Chemical or Chemistry Engineering
- 0-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Senior is expected to have a solid experience in Chemical Injection and Trials
- Proficiency in oral and written English
