The position
You will be responsible for driving the Hardware technology strategy for our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). MES is used at our global production sites to track and document the movement of materials on the shopfloor. Together with MES, our pre-approved hardware is an important component to enable digitalization at our production sites.

The position
You will be responsible for driving the Hardware technology strategy for our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). MES is used at our global production sites to track and document the movement of materials on the shopfloor. Together with MES, our pre-approved hardware is an important component to enable digitalization at our production sites.
Your main tasks would be to:
- Define and drive the technology strategy for our Manufacturing Execution System equipment
- Create market scans and future trend spotting of new technologies
- Stay updated on current technologies
- Conduct vendor management and ensure global procurement
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to identify current and future needs
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you preferably have:
- BSc, MSC or a similar degree in relevant fields such as IT/Software engineering or Computer Science
- All-round knowledge of IT and hands-on experience with various hardware technologies (e.g.: Thin Clients, Tablets, handheld PDAs, label Printers)
- Experience with specifications, design, implementation, and maintenance of hardware solutions
- Excellent communication skills written and orally in English
- Former experience as an IT supporter is an advantage
Further it will be an advantage if you have the following knowledge:
- Experience within the Pharma industry and GxP environment
- PAS-X or other comparable MES systems
- SOTI or other Mobile Device Management tools
- GxP documentation
