The position
At Novo Nordisk the IT QA is responsible for defining and implementing the QA activities for regulated (GxP) applications/solutions. Together with the IT specialists, analysts, and managers, you will be a key contributor in setting the direction for the global application and implementation of regulatory requirements, based on pharmaceutical industry standards and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
The position offers a unique possibility to work with IT Quality Management globally in Novo Nordisk and to develop you professionally through challenging opportunities on the job as well as formal training.
The position is based in Bagsværd and you should expect around 5 days of travel per year. Since you will collaborate with colleagues across the globe, you must expect some virtual meetings to take place outside normal Danish working hours.
Qualifications
The position requires significant insight into quality processes like audit, deviation handling, validation, CAPA, change control, records management as well as insights for key IT processes, like Incident and Problem management, Configuration and Change management, Release and Deployment management, Testing and Validation (CSV), Operations management, Security and Risk management, etc.
We are especially looking for a candidate who can tick off most of the following:
You should also demonstrate insight into business processes, e.g., manufacturing (GMP), clinical supplies (GCP) or similar. It is an advantage if you possess solid IT technical knowledge and if you are familiar with agile methodology and have experience in working with Azure DevOps. You are considered as an enthusiastic and committed team player, and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment with tight deadlines while maintaining a good sense of humour. You have the right mind-set which is open to learn and apply new skills.
The department
IT QA Office is a part of IT Quality which employs 40 highly skilled and ambitious quality professionals in Denmark and India. We are responsible for ensuring that external and internal requirements are reflected in Novo Nordisk IT processes, and the department serves as competence centre for IT quality assurance throughout Novo Nordisk. Our responsibilities also include quality assurance of IT projects and IT systems, services and infrastructure used globally.

The position
At Novo Nordisk the IT QA is responsible for defining and implementing the QA activities for regulated (GxP) applications/solutions. Together with the IT specialists, analysts, and managers, you will be a key contributor in setting the direction for the global application and implementation of regulatory requirements, based on pharmaceutical industry standards and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the QA related activities with the IT specialists, analysts, managers and others
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to projects with focus on key quality activities and deliverables. Activities will range from advising on risk management, quality planning, approving quality related deliverables, to preparations for internal audits and external inspections by authorities
- Work closely with the agile project management teams and stakeholders in Line of Business (LoB). You are expected to leverage quality assurance, IT and business process knowledge including IT technical expertise to ensure both efficient and effective quality assurance and compliance in an Agile setting.

- You hold a MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field, preferably with a strong IT substance
- Several years of practical experience as an IT QA, Pharma background is a big advantage
- You can easily take full ownership for your work and have a strong sense for meeting objectives and delivering high quality
- You thrive with stakeholder interaction, and you can present complex matters in a clear and precise way
- You are fluent in written and spoken English (corporate language)
