Medical Doctors to develop CagriSema for patients with Diabetes and Obesity


We are looking for Medical Specialists across seniority levels with passion and experience in clinical trial design and execution, preferably within diabetes and/or obesity therapy.

About the department

To accelerate and expand the promising novel therapy CagriSema, a dedicated area has been established as part of Clinical Drug Development located in Søborg, Copenhagen, Denmark. In Medical & Science, we are medically responsible for the clinical development program. Our responsibilities include planning and execution of clinical trials (phases 1-4) and non-interventional studies, medical and scientific support to health authority interactions, publications, early research activities, presentations, and more. The current M&S departments consist of 9 medical doctors and 1 clinical pharmacologist, and we are expected to grow.

The position

As Medical Specialist your main role will be designing clinical trials, providing medical oversight during trial conduct, interpreting data including assessment of risk-benefit, documenting results, and supporting regulatory submissions. You will work in close collaboration with many other skill areas such as trial management, biostatistics, global safety, and regulatory affairs. We also interact with colleagues in regional offices as well as external stakeholders including regulatory authorities, treating HCPs and therapeutic experts. You should have a flair for building and using both internal and external network(s) and share learnings actively within the project and department. You will give oral presentations internally and externally and co-author publications.

Qualifications

You hold a university degree as a Medical Doctor and have dedicated clinical research experience, preferably through a PhD or similar. Experience as (co)-investigator in randomized clinical trials is a plus, as is relevant experience with clinical development from the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry.

We work in a global environment hence proficiency in English is needed.
