The position
The main responsibility is to drive portal improvements from an employee experience perspective. This means understanding end users, identifying areas of improvement and breaking this down to features for implementation. You will be covering portal front end elements and functionality like portal widgets, navigation/search and design.
You are expected to deliver quality advice on UX/employee experience and collaborate closely with other teams and internal stakeholders in finding the best solutions to cover needs from both users and People & Organisation delivering the portal content. Your tasks will be to:

The position
The main responsibility is to drive portal improvements from an employee experience perspective. This means understanding end users, identifying areas of improvement and breaking this down to features for implementation. You will be covering portal front end elements and functionality like portal widgets, navigation/search and design.
You are expected to deliver quality advice on UX/employee experience and collaborate closely with other teams and internal stakeholders in finding the best solutions to cover needs from both users and People & Organisation delivering the portal content. Your tasks will be to:
- Proactively collect user feedback directly from the portal or through user groups to constantly be on top of pain points and opportunities for portal improvements
- Develop and maintain a ServiceNow feature roadmap for utilising new functionality to improve employee experience on the portal
- Develop prototypes and draft solutions before implementation adhering to our corporate CVI and in alignment with other HR systems
- Define user testing and UX methods to be used when implementing new solutions and teach, guide and engage team members in the importance of a user-centred development focus
- Ensure that portal design, widgets, search and navigation provide the best user experience
- Support the rest of the team in change communication and impact assessment when delivering new functionality
Qualifications
- You have an academic degree probably within the field of Communication, User Experience and Usability, Software Development
- Ideally a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience from similar positions either working with development of digital HR/communication solutions, portal design or UX
- Technical mindset and the ability to collaborate with developers on finding possible solutions and maybe even perform some configuration directly in ServiceNow (HTML/coding experience an advantage)
- Good communicator with a change communication experience
- Can apply functional UX and can design a great employee experience that meet user needs
- Experience with ServiceNow is an advantage
- We are on a learning journey and need to stay open - you contribute by being curious, eager to learn and actively seek feedback from users and stakeholders
