As our new Master Data Governance Lead, you are expected to have strong interest in financial architecture of a global organisation, and drive to get the basics rights of data management, to unluck the potential of the vast data set that finance has access to.
Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring high quality master data and data on a global scale. Playing a key role to organise and drive our finance master data communities. Enabling value generation by designing and operationalizing Master Data Management (MDM) in collaboration with key stakeholder in Global Finance and Global IT and Global Business Services (GBS). Building and engaging a global finance data community, fostering a data-driven culture, building the bridge between our global finance community and Global IT. Designing and implementing a data governance structure for Finance use cases globally. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you hold a relevant Master degree and have: Experience in building internal professional networks in an international setting, preferably in finance communities and/or in the data governance domain. Experience or high level of self interest in current development in master data and data management. Proficiency in Excel, and preferably exposure to more advanced data management environments (e.g. SAP BW/SaaC, any SQL environment, Informatica, Winshuttle, Bizzdesign, PowerApps.) and BI solutions (Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau, SAP BO, etc.) Full proficiency of English. Stakeholder management, consistent cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence. On a personal level, you are curious, proactive, high performing, business minded and interested to initiate and drive projects that will positively impact our finance infrastructure development. Furthermore, we expect you to have a flair for IT, good sense of humour, and high level of energy. About the department
The Global Finance Master Data team is the new centre of excellence for financial data and infrastructure in Global Finance, creating the bridge between financial business needs and Novo Nordisk’s finance systems and digital solutions. The job is located in Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Bagsværd.
As a Data Governance Lead, you will be part of a group of four dedicated colleagues with a wealth of experience from a broad range of Finance fields from within and outside of Novo Nordisk with a common drive to propel our finance infrastructure into the future and preparing our company for our next major finance system evolution.
