About the job: We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic laboratory technicians for the development of microbial fermentation and recovery processes on a laboratory scale. Your primary responsibility will be our 2L fermentation reactors. In cooperation with scientists and other laboratory technicians, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting non-GMP laboratory experiments. This includes carrying out fermentation experiments with associated recovery processes, such as centrifugation and filtration, sample collection, and sample handling. For the right candidate, the job position entails the opportunity to aid in the establishment and operation of our newly acquired Ambr250. Qualification:
  • You have a background as laboratory technician
  • You have experience with fermentation and recovery processes (centrifugation and filtration)
  • Experience with yeast or E. coli is an advantage
  • As a person you are structured and know the importance of carefully documenting experimental work
  • You are not afraid of challenging status quo and strive to continuously improve workflows
  • You can communicate in Danish and English – both orally and in written form
  • You are a team player and thrive in collaboration with others
  • Experience with Ambr250 can be an advantage but is not a requirement
    • About the department: In Upstream Development, we develop fermentation and recovery processes for the production of new therapeutic proteins. The work is primarily carried out in fermentation reactors ranging from 2L-200L as continuous and fed-batch fermentations. The department consists of approximately 60 people divided into four teams working with microbial and mammalian fermentation processes and cell banks. This position is located in our microbial team, where we work with yeast and E. coli on a laboratory scale. The team consists of 9 scientists and 11 laboratory technicians.
