As a Senior Manager, you will head up the manufacturing support unit consisting of several teams within environmental monitoring and equipment support. Your direct reports will be several associate managers who are responsible for leading engineers, project managers, chemists, technicians, and skilled workers. The overall size of your organization will increase to approximately 50 employees in 2023 initially divided into three teams. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Develop and optimize the organization and employees in the department
• Support the production to produce and release API bulk according to delivery agreement
• Ensure licence to operate and production compliance within GMP
• Guarantee that operation, investment, and manning are kept The area is on an exciting growth journey. You will report to the production site Director and collaborate closely with your management colleagues on day-to-day operations, securing strong collaboration in and outside the organization. The unit you will be heading will be leading exciting projects to meet future compliance requirements but also projects to improve process performance. Furthermore, the department has a strong focus on manufacturing intelligence and focus on utilizing data science to bring clarity in process variation and barriers and then optimize accordingly to create stability and predictability in our day. Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our management team because you have:
• Solid leadership experience when it comes to developing, engaging, and creating followship within your organisation.
• Extensive experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing under GMP and preferably within API.
• A holistic approach on solving challenges and great collaboration skills within your management group.
• A relevant academic degree and full professional proficiency in English. As a person, you can understand through complex issues, and you are able to translate this into operational actions. You have an excellent quality mindset and business understanding and you can develop people as an individual and as part of a team. About the department
Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) API Denmark is in Gentofte, Hilleroed and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients go into all our life-saving biotech products that are made by app. 550 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying.
We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
