As our Student Assistant, you will become a part of our team which comprises both software developers and data engineers. Together, we are working on a data analytics and visualization platform that enables data-driven decision-making. You will be able to influence the shape of the projects in collaboration with experienced developers. Your main responsibilities are included, but not limited to: Back-end programming in Python and the development of features using simple user interfaces Documenting the development process and providing regular progress updates to the team We are expecting that you will support our software development team for 15 hours per week. This role will enable you to put your theoretical knowledge into practice while at the same time gaining industry experience and building a network with talented professionals within the organization. Qualifications
You are a Student who is ideally between 2 years into your Bachelor’s degree or early in your Master's degree within Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or other relevant areas, where you have a strong focus on software development. To succeed in this role, you would have some experience in the following areas: Python programming with a focus on clean, robust, and readable code Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas) SQL proficiency Basic HTML & JavaScript Familiarity with testing methodologies Preference (as a plus): Django or other similar web frameworks Docker for dev-ops Version control, such as git Cloud services (e.g., AWS) Vue.js or similar frameworks HTMX Document databases (e.g., MongoDB) Experience with data visualizations Using AI chatbots in software development As a person, you should be well-structured and able to plan your work to keep your deadlines, while having a keen eye for details and the ability to see potential flaws, as you might be driving minor projects. Fluency in spoken and written English is required (our working language is English, and thus knowledge of Danish is not required but can be helpful in some cases) About the department
In BRD Manufacturing Development, we are responsible for supporting our production facilities and ongoing optimization of our many processes. You will also be a part of the Digital & Projects Students network within our Manufacturing Development area. The network consists of students with diverse competencies, from change management and communication to supports and optimizations all parts of the production, using IT, data, and Lean, from the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, all the way through packaging to finished products.
