The Position As an ESG Senior Project Manager/Lead at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to: Drive and participate in cross-functional strategic projects on ESG, with a focus on new requirements such as CSRD, CSDDD and EU Taxonomy, ensuring a strategic approach to ESG disclosures, risks and opportunities Assess external requirements and expectations on ESG from stakeholders and develop proposals for Novo Nordisk's approach to these aligned with the company’s strategies Collaborate with sustainability leads across the business to ensure seamless implementation Work closely with Corporate Accounting and Finance to ensure Novo Nordisk discloses the right data and information within ESG aligned with our own strategies and external requirements Develop and deliver high-quality material on sustainability-related topics to Novo Nordisk senior management and governance bodies You will be expected to ensure thorough processes creating buy-in from relevant internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will engage with external sustainability experts, as ESG raters, industry organisations and standard setters to ensure Novo Nordisk is at the forefront of the developments in the ESG field. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A relevant Master’s degree (e.g. Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering) Min. +4 years’ experience of managing projects in the field of ESG and sustainability in a big corporate or in a consultancy Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects, incl. project planning, issue-driven problem solving, senior management communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset As a person, we are looking for someone who is result-oriented with strong attention to detail. About the Department The ESG Strategy & Intelligence department is driving a broad range of ESG and sustainability related topics including assessing new reporting regulation, management reporting, data and insights, communications, external trends and intelligence, and cross-functional projects while also facilitating collaboration with the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Novo Nordisk Sustainability Advisory Council. The team is international and cross-functional collaboration is highly valued. Cultivating team spirit, continuous development and trust are all central priorities for the team.
