The position
Our manufacturing machines and systems are getting more and more sophisticated regarding built-in IT components, as are the requirements for big data from the systems. This implies changed expectations to IT and a new way of working – and this is where you come in.
As IT System Manager you will be responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of several critical IT systems, primarily laboratory and production systems, located and used in DMD.
Your main tasks will be:
By using best practices within IT compliance and system management, you will focus on optimizing the current IT setup to better serve the future needs of our business. On an ongoing basis, it will be your responsibility to systematically maintain documentation, ensure security patching, perform user reviews, drive life cycle management, etc.

As IT System Manager you will be working in DMD Pilot Operations.
DMD is a project-organisation comprising more than 300 dedicated employees striving to make us the best manufacturing development partner of medical devices. Our dedication is to build and maintain superior quality into our devices.
You will be part of the local IT team consisting of highly skilled technicians having daily collaboration with global IT, local Automation colleagues, end users as well as external vendors. We are working in a regulated area where compliance and security standards are taken very seriously.
The department is characterised by strong collaboration and good team spirit, where we value great sense of humor even when we are working under pressure. There are no days alike and you will expect varying tasks. Your workplace is based in Hillerød, Denmark.

The position

As IT System Manager you will be responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of several critical IT systems, primarily laboratory and production systems, located and used in DMD.
Your main tasks will be:
- Support a broad range of new systems and services coming in – from purchasing, introduction and integration – to the benefit of our stakeholders.
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of the IT systems and identify and manage the implementation of new requirements to existing IT systems and services
- Manage the expectations of system owners, end-users, quality assurance colleagues and other key stakeholders concerning the use and operation of the IT systems.
- Lead the implementation of smaller IT projects.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with key stakeholders including follow-up on vendor deliverables and services according to agreements.
- You will play a key role supporting the local infrastructure (servers, active directory, virtualization, databases, LAN/VLAN, backup/restore) for the site.

Qualifications
In the role as IT System Manager we expect you to have:
- A degree within IT, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant studies.
- Relevant and consistent working experience with e.g. support and maintenance of IT systems, IT compliance and validation, infrastructure design, and implementation of IT solutions.
- Fully proficient in English, and preferably Danish.
- Experience from the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
