The Position
As a Cleaning Supporter your key responsibilities will be to plan and carry out CIP (Clean In Place) validation and verification activities of production equipment between batches in our two production facilities covering both cultivation and purification processes. You will take part in the day-to-day problem solving and ensure that continuous improvements are implemented. We expect you to have a keen eye for detail and an interest in validation strategy, planning and execution.
You will be delivering excellent results and help us fulfil our ambition to obtain great process understanding and a stable production thus enabling us to start producing new products.

As a person, you have strong analytical skills, are structured and proactive in your work and will never compromise on quality. To succeed you need to be able to work independently and keep a calm and be able to make decisions in a busy work environment where the agenda changes frequently.
About the department
You will be part of a dynamic business area that produces Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for patients across the world.
Biotech and Rare Disease API Denmark Production Department 050 consists of 110 employees split into five teams and staff function. We are situated in Hillerød and currently produce API which is used to treat and prevent bleeding in patients with haemophilia B, an inherited bleeding disorder caused by lack of a clotting protein called factor IX. We can offer a diverse work environment where succeeding together is crucial. We are growing our business and looking into an exciting future as a multi-product facility which will expand our department and add complexity and the possibility for talent development.

The Position

You will be delivering excellent results and help us fulfil our ambition to obtain great process understanding and a stable production thus enabling us to start producing new products.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Handling validation and verification planning and execution
- Coordination of activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting production including required documentation in accordance with the current standards and legislations, deviations and change requests.
- Initiate problem solving (A3) for observed deviations or other issues with the cleaning processes
- Review of documentation and updating written procedures according to standards.
- Improvement activities and small projects, to ensure that we do things in a smart, simple, and environmentally responsible way
Qualifications
- You have a degree within relevant scientific field such as biotechnology, chemical engineering, microbiology or something similar
- At least two years’ experience with validation, cleaning, production support or other relevant areas
- Experience with cleaning or other area of support would be an advantage. If you are ready for a career change, we will adjust the role accordingly if we see the right fit
- Understanding of Danish (or willingness to learn) and English both written and spoken
- Your good communication skills enable you to have a strong cooperation with stakeholders across the organization.
