As Senior Manager in Moulding Production, you will be overall responsible for the daily operation leading to timely delivery of plastic components to our internal customers to the benefit of our patients.

About the department
Being a part of Novo Nordisk’s Device Manufacturing and Sourcing (DMS) means working with a global focus at one of the world’s largest and most successful pharmaceutical companies. Our DMS organisation is responsible for manufacturing and sourcing of devices and device components and as such a vital part of Novo Nordisk’s delivery to our patients.
You will join our Moulding Production based in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 140 colleagues, working in 8 teams. We produce plastic components used for manufacturing of our medical devices in Novo Nordisk. We deliver large quantities to our sister factories in Diabetes Finished Products and Biopharmaceuticals, and we do that in close collaboration with the other departments in DMS.
We are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by ensuring high quality components at a competitive cost for our customers within prefilled devices. The position
As Senior Manager in Moulding Production, you will be overall responsible for the daily operation leading to timely delivery of plastic components to our internal customers to the benefit of our patients.
Some of your main responsibilities include to:
- Manage a team of 4 highly engaged Associate Managers with the overall responsibility of approximately 100 operators and technicians working on shifts 24 hours 7 days a week. The goal is to achieve the highest level of efficiency while complying with all applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Lead by example, set the direction, and create a highly engaging and motivating environment for your organisation.
- Ensure a safe workplace with timely deliveries, robust processes, and the right quality.
- Create a culture ready to ensure ongoing optimisations by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees. A high amount of focus will be placed on Lean methodologies such as systematic problem solving and standardisation
You will become part of a highly engaged management team and you will be able to impact the strategic direction of the department and help forming the future. Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we expect you to:
- Have at least 5 years of people management experience preferably from a 24/7 high volume production environment.
- Hold a degree within Engineering, Science, or any other relevant fields.
- Are fluent in Danish and English.
It would be considered as an advantage if you have:
- An experience from injection moulding industry.
- A knowledge of Good manufacturing practice (GMP).
