About the department
New Production is a key part of Novo Nordisk Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) and has the responsibility for driving production capacity projects across a broad portfolio of devices through our external suppliers. Novo Nordisk are excited to launch a number of medical devices with digital features, to better support our customer needs. DMS New Production are responsible for ensuring the capacity for these new devices are established and can ramped up to meet demand. The production take place at external suppliers and our agreements include both technical and a commercial aspects.

In your role, you will be anchored in the DMS New Production but will work broadly across many functions within DMS and also other functions in Novo Nordisk (e.g. Device R&D, Capacity planning and different marketing functions).

The position
As Senior Programme Manager, you will be coordinating our expansion projects within our portfolio of new connected devices & delivery systems with our suppliers. You will also ensure that projects progress from initiation to production launch, according to the schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To be our anchor person and ensure the overall coordination of project activities with the suppliers’ sites and their project managers for the production equipment.
  • Providing clear goals and purpose for the project and the project team members.
  • Identifying and planning the various project activities related to bringing a new capacity into production.
  • Planning and driving performance by monitoring progress, aligning priorities, removing roadblocks, and escalating.
  • Continuously improving the way projects are executed by challenging the status quo, identifying process gaps, and ensuring solutions are pursued
  • Keeping the spirits up in an engaged and making sure that key stakeholders (e.g. device development, production, commercial, quality, and regulations) are aligned and work towards the common goal.

Furthermore, you will be part of the evaluation of need for new capacity to ensure that the production can meet the future demand.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, manufacturing, project management, or any other relevant field.
  • Have a solid Programme or Project Management experience (at least 7 years) within production, production expansion or similar ideally from a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical devices, food industries…).
  • Be used to manage and drive several projects at the same time and take a methodical approach to work and tasks.
  • Have good stakeholders management skills allowing you to work efficiently with suppliers.
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English.

It would be considered as an advantage if you:

  • Have a previous experience within production of electronic devices or willing to learn.
  • Are familiar with supply chain and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
