About the department
The position is based in DD&IT Operations - an area with 300+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services.
The department consists of highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT-Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure for all Novo’s factories around the world. Our team is working in close co-operation with Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India, and external vendors.
We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our organisation, and our IT deliverables are according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.
The position
You will be part of our backup team where you work close together with your colleagues in Denmark and India supporting our production areas.
You will be responsible for development of our image backup solution used on production critical equipment.
Task could be:
You will be engaged in projects with line of business where you ensure they get the right backup solution based on business and compliance requirements
The successful candidate will have opportunity to work from either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, with flexibility to work from home some of the time.

- Setting direction on service design
- Evaluation of new versions
- Evaluation of security patches
- Test and verification together with line of business
- Daily operation including tape management
You will be engaged in projects with line of business where you ensure they get the right backup solution based on business and compliance requirements
The successful candidate will have opportunity to work from either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, with flexibility to work from home some of the time.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Good knowledge of Linux and windows operation systems and computer hardware
- Experience within image backup solutions, Windows network and storage driver management, PE boot images, tape library
- Stakeholder management – to understand internal dependencies in our processes and engagement with LoB to define and prioritize the tasks.
- Understanding of standard IT infrastructure technologies is required
- Written and spoken English is required
