The position
Novo Nordisk is currently building up Manufacturing capacity as the demand and product portfolio grows. As part of this journey the newly established organisation, AP Expansion, focuses on delivering several new Aseptic Production Facilities worldwide.

The AP expansion program
AP Expansions is one of the most strategically critical programs for Novo Nordisk with high attention. The program has an ambition to build multiple facilities across the world with standard, future proof, and scalable solutions. It’s a 12 billion investment program where we will be looking at new processes and new facilities, building on new ideas and an opportunity to be frontrunner in different solutions and technologies. We will be looking to improve and further automate and digitalise our production processes, raising the bar from what we can do today. The focus from our side is to bring our global production processes to the next digital level, by co-defining ambitious targets with our many internal and external teams, while also preparing for a fast-paced rollout in four different sites.
Qualifications
To fulfil this role, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who can think and plan strategically while giving direction to the executing teams. Having some of this experience from a greenfield track in a manufacturing or production program is an advantage. Other than that, we hope to see, that:
• You hold a relevant master’s degree, and you will be able to work out of Denmark.
• You have a proven track record as a strong project manager in a complex and regulated environment, naturally achieving followership from your project teams
• You are recognised as an inspirational project leader who can bring together various stakeholders and suppliers towards a common goal with utmost transparency.
• You build business insights through data and by listening to and understanding your stakeholders, you lead naturally in a project by communicating a clear aspiration and clear priorities.
• You are a talented and resourceful person who is driven by having impact on a higher purpose
As a person, you are energised by taking responsibility, not only for your own deliverables but also for ensuring cross organisational alignment and communicating on all levels in the organisation. You are proactive and curious and want to take the lead in ensuring the best digital solutions.
About the department
With this role, we welcome you to Digital, Data & IT – Product Supply (DD&IT – PS), which is the IT partner for Product Supply in Novo Nordisk. We are counting 700 employees across 8 geographical locations. More specifically, you will be part of AP Expansions - IT & Automation, a new department working out of Gentofte while anchored in Bagsværd, Denmark.
You will step into a strong and diverse community of specialists having a high focus on digitalisation and modernisation while always focusing on our purpose of serving our patients in the best possible way.
