You’ll be a part of the Platform & Software Centre of Excellence within Business Intelligence, Data Management & Analytics (BIDMA), where we focus on high value creation and innovation. Join us in our mission to #BringDataToLife The position As a Cloud Developer you will play a central role in defining and implementing scalable solutions to facilitate local initiatives, leveraging the AWS cloud. Your tasks include: Contributing actively to our internal developer platform with minimal guidance. The purpose of the developer platform is to reduce the undifferentiated heavy lifting from our cloud developers, data engineers, data scientists, scientific researchers, etc. by enabling reliable and secure reusable building blocks and infrastructure. Providing technical guidance to feasibility/scope assessments for the leadership team regarding the implementation and adoption of cloud technologies Using behaviour-driven design principles to ensure a common understanding between stakeholders and developers on quality, security, and GxP compliance. Ensuring that the products you support are continuously improving in code, security, and reliability. These improvements should be spread across the teams you interact with, so that you lift the bar of our product standards. Furthermore, you will: Continuously develop your professional knowledge and skills through participation in external industry events such as seminars, conferences and publishing activities. Share knowledge with your colleagues through demos, co-development, and sparring, ensuring that expertise is spread across the team to enable collaborative ways of working. The position is based at our site in Bagsværd, which is in the greater Copenhagen region, Denmark. Since you will be working in a global environment, you must expect occasional meetings to take place outside Danish working hours. Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with the following background: Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, software development or a related field, with at least 2 years’ experience working with contemporary cloud technologies, preferably AWS. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and working with modern build, test and deployment tools, ideally in large organisations as an internal colleague or consultant. An understanding of infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code. Strong programming skills with Python and at least one other language. Experience writing and refactoring code. The ability to understand complex technical matters, form an educated opinion, and communicate with impact to a variety of stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise. We are cloud native and we work primarily on AWS. We deliver solutions using Scrum methodology. We have built and are operating the enterprise data lake, data mesh and data science platform on AWS to support our vision, which is to be able to deliver world class management and enablement of data. The overarching goal is to use data to gain new understandings and insights, drive optimisations and create true value to Novo Nordisk and the patients we serve.
