The Position
In this role you will be heading up a team of 20 experienced Project Managers, Environmental Specialists and manage our external consultants. You will be responsible for an exciting and significant portfolio of investment projects. You will set the direction and develop your team. In addition, you will work closely together with your stakeholders to ensure progress and results.

About the department
You will be a part of a Business Support department in one of our production facilities in Kalundborg, Denmark. The department is app. 90 highly engaged employees divided in 4 different teams. The department is supporting the productions within supply chain, finance, warehousing, training, document handling, IT management and project management.
We have an increasing portfolio of diverse projects in a complex, constantly growing and highly regulated area. You will be working very closely with the CVP management group, key suppliers and be a part of our Business Support management.

The Position

You can look forward to:
- Oversee a large and complex portfolio of investment projects; keep track of risks, schedules, and costs.
- Analyse and plan the right resources to support projects’ execution in close collaboration with the Project Managers, Project Portfolio Manager and Project Assistant.
- Coach, support and develop your team.
- Hold contract negotiations and performance meetings with external engineering partners.
- Set strategic directions and work with process simplifications, standards, and systems to develop our project portfolio office.
- Identify and drive ‘circular for zero’ initiatives across the area.
You will bring a strategic perspective and a general overview from shop floor to director and Corporate Vice President level, with an open and proactive leadership approach.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
- An academic background in engineering, economics, supply chain, or similar.
- Several years of experience in project planning and execution of projects from a similar position in a global industry regulated by the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), or as a consultant specialised in project execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and natural ability to talk to employees at all levels.
- Solid experience with people management.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Danish language skills on a communicative level or willingness to learn it would be advantageous.
