Digital Training Consultant & AR Trainer

Training Technologies & Standards is anchored within Global P&O, and we are on an exciting journey as Extended Reality (XR) technology is becoming more and more essential in how we train our employees. We are now looking for an innovative, passionate, fast-learning and tech-savvy new Digital Training Consultant to fill a 1-year vacancy in our team (potential for extending role into a permanent position).

The position
Your main responsibility will be implementing Augmented Reality (AR) solutions in a cross-organisational collaboration to support training and performance support of our colleagues in Novo Nordisk´s productions sites.

We are currently in an exciting phase of rolling out a new way of working in Novo Nordisk, using Augmented Reality to instruct our colleagues on shopfloor with the help of holographic instructions in their daily work. You will be part of making this roll out a success by teaching our end users how to create holographic instructions and how to use the technology to improve the way we train and instruct in Novo Nordisk.

You will follow an implementation plan to ensure high quality training of all the roles involved in a successful anchoring of the solutions, and you will work both from the offices in Bagsværd and 2-3 days a week at the Productions around Copenhagen and in Kalundborg. While at the Productions sites, you will conduct training of the end-users as a classroom trainer and as a coach to Operators developing and using the AR solutions during their daily work.

Additionally, you will be responsible for anchoring these new ways of working in our existing training setup in Novo Nordisk. You will work with training professionals and stakeholders across the global training organisation, and especially across the Product Supply, Quality & IT organisation. This will require an ability both to act on day-to-day challenges and to propose solutions at a high strategic level. Your goal is to see the big picture and create solutions than create solid governance, sustainability, and business value across the organisation.

You will have a chance to develop your trainer skills as well as understanding and use of XR technologies in a job specific as well as corporate setting. The global network of training professionals are your close colleagues, sparring partners and loyal supporters as you develop into and beyond this role.

The position is a maternity vacancy limited to 12 months with the possibility of extension to a permanent position within the department.

Qualifications
You have experience within developing and conducting training/education. You thrive in environments where you work pro-actively and as part of a team, working together in a global context across functions and business areas. You enjoy to be up front with your colleagues and trainees and at the centre of a classroom setting.

In additional, you have the courage to speak up if you see possibilities for improvement and changes. To be successful in this role, you need to have excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, including the ability to facilitate, teach and present, and solid stakeholder management experience.

You identify with most of the below:
• You are comfortable with technology and have experience developing digital learning solutions.
• You enjoy communicating and presenting in a classroom setting as well as person-to-person.
• You have experience teaching and you have facilitated (and maybe developed content for) live and virtual courses
• You can quickly grasp new learning technologies such as VR, AR, MR, Simulation, Gamification, and other educational technology.
• Experience with CAD and designing 3D objects is not required, but it is an advantage
• You are familiar with Training within Industries (TWI)

You have an educational background within e.g., Technology, Education, Psychology, Communication, Design Thinking, or another similar field. You could also be working in IT with experience in the field of training and education. Most important is your technological and educational understanding and ability to truly combine these two areas of expertise, creating solutions that will make a difference to the organization.

Knowledge within development of Virtual Reality solutions is not a prerequisite, but it can be an additional advantage as we have a track for this in our team as well.

You speak and write Danish as well as English fluently and you have great people skills.

About the department
The position is in the team Training Technologies & Standards, which is anchored in the Global People & Organisation (HR), in the department of Training & Capability Building, consisting of 70+ training professionals. We focus specifically on the job specific training supporting employees working within the regulated production areas in Product Supply, Quality & IT.

The team is responsible for the training standards used in the production areas, the development of digital content such as videos and e-learning, and scouting, piloting and implementing new technologies such as AR and VR. The team consists of experienced Learning & Development Consultants and Training Developers responsible for setting direction and supporting the global training organisation and the end users out in line of business.

The job is in Bagsværd, Denmark, and we provide flexible working conditions.

The position may involve travel.
