About the department
You will be a part of the Environment, Health & Safety department at NNPR with 14 highly engaged, experienced, and qualified seasoned professionals, technicians, administrative and a student assistant who work diligently to support the entire value chain, from Research & Development to Production and Sales & Marketing.

The position
As an Environmental Partner you will have the following responsibilities:
- Set direction for and drive our daily processes within the environment, e.g., permits and collaboration with municipalities and Ministry of Environment of Denmark, waste handling, wastewater handling, managing CO2 emissions, soil, protection and monitoring of ground water, energy, and water consumption
- Collaborate within the whole value chain to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks within environment
- Drive mapping and risk assessment of the environment conditions/impact/changes, together with responsible, when introducing new equipment, technology, materials, work processes or facilities
- Collaborate with project members and act as the environmental subject matter expert for projects within New Product Entry, Product Lifecycle Management, Investment projects and building contractual projects to ensure right EHS impact within your daily routine you will also work on shopfloor, having daily dialogues with various stakeholders to establish professional relationships fast and effectively.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
- A relevant master’s degree (e.g., Master of Science (MSc) Technological and Socio-Economic Planning, Master of Science (MSc) Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science or Master of Science (MSc) Environmental Engineering)
- Full working proficiency in Danish, both orally and written
- Full working profiency in English, both orally and written
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with environmental work, ideally from pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory environment.
- Experience with Danish legislative requirements, ISO 14001 standard, and audits/inspections.
