Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest more than DKK42 billion to expand existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg, to support the current and future company portfolio within serious chronic diseases. We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Process Engineer within Fermentation to join the investment project.

The activities will be carried out at our site in Kalundborg, Novo Nordisk hub for API manufacturing. The position
You can look forward to supporting the project around new equipment, systems and processes within fermentation. You will be part of a team responsible for the design, procurement, installation, and validation of a large-scale bio-pharma production facility.
You will take an active part in a competent owner organisation and collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines and organisations.

After the project is finished, the role will continue into an operational role, in which you will have a position as cleaning process engineer supporting the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing organisation.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have: • Knowledge about biotechnology or chemical process technology within large-scale production facilities
• Minimum a bachelor’s level education in chemistry, pharmaceutical, mechanical process engineering or similar
• Good understanding of Good manufacturing Practise (GMP).
• It would be an advantage if you have knowledge and experience with cleaning validation activities in an API manufacturing plant or similar operational organisation
• Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English.
