The position Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest more than DKK42 billion to expand existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg, to support the current and future company portfolio within serious chronic diseases. Therefore, we are hiring experienced colleagues within Process Engineering to join the investment project. As a Process Engineer, you will participate in project activities for investigating design, constructability, schedule, and cost for a new purification facility. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class design standards from other facilities. Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Participating in project activities such as design review, design risk assessments, FAT and SAT
  • Test and documentation
  • Validation of purification process
  • Helping in implementing known solutions as well as new design solutions where relevant
  • Helping to develop and adhere to standards to ensure structure and transparency
  • Taking an active part in a competent user organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities
  • We are open to adjust the tasks and the level of the position to your experience and qualifications. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you need to have:
  • Some experience within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ideally Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing
  • Minimum a bachelor’s level education withing natural sciences, engineering or similar
  • Some knowledge about technology trends within bulk manufacturing
  • Full professional English proficiency (verbal and written)
  • It would be advantageous if you have knowledge related to design review and validation of API processes
  • On a personal level, you enjoy close teamwork, can ride out a storm, and have a natural curiosity. You thrive in a multicultural environment that demands independence to make decisions. About the department We are a rapidly growing purification department in Novo Nordisk API expansion area. We are designing and validating a new purification facility, together with numerous stakeholders. Our approach is innovative, stakeholder focused, and inclusive in everything we do.
