The position As our new PAT Professional, you will join a team, where our primary tasks are focused on implementing PAT that are being used to monitor and control the production processes and for quality control of the final drug products. Your main responsibilities will be to: • Work with spectroscopy (primarily NIR to start out with) to analyse in-process, intermediates, and products from our production processes, using In-Line and At-Line analysis.
• Collaborate with colleagues from the process development area and, manufacturing development, to develop and validate PAT methods, including preparation of study protocols/reports, hands-on work, data evaluation and reporting.
• Monitor and be the owner of NIR methods to ensure that the methods are functional and up to date. We are building up our PAT competences and you will be a part of a very dynamic team working with implementation of ing new technologies across productions.the area. Qualifications and skills
The optimal candidate has: • A bachelor, a M.Sc. or a PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field, preferably coupled with experience from the food or pharmaceutical industry. • Experience with chemometrics and modelling of spectroscopic data
• The ability to work independently with complex tasks, as well as possess great structure, communication, and cooperation skills
• A strong analytical background and a proven ability to bridge the gap between the analytical and process part in manufacturing
• Experience within the laboratory world or a GMP regulated environment
• Knowledge or experience within Spectroscopic methods – NIR, RAMAN, FT-IR and/or manufacturing development or RTRT will be considered as a distinctive advantage
• Fluency in English, written and verbally At a personal level, you enjoy working with people from different professional backgrounds who are dedicated to meeting our common goals. Lastly, you are good at communicating complex content to people with different backgrounds. About the department
The team you will join is named PPQC support and consists of 10 colleagues. PPQC support is a part of PPQC lab supporting 4 purification plants in PS-API. The department consists of 4 teams with an approx. 65 lab technicians and chemists. PPQC support is responsible for all equipment in the lab and PAT NIR instruments placed in the PS-API production.
