The new facility is built to modern standards, where sustainability and safety are key aspects during design, construction and operation. The position As an Environmental Partner you will fulltime participate in our green field project and have the following responsibilities:
  • Set direction for and drive our daily processes within the environment, e.g., permits and collaboration with municipality and Ministry of Environment of Denmark, waste handling, wastewater handling, managing CO2 emissions, soil, protection and monitoring of ground water, energy, and water consumption
  • Establishing economical- and sustainability assessment to improve circularity throughout the project
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project members and specialists across the project organisation to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks within sustainability
  • As part of your daily routine, you will also support the other work packages in the project by attending workshops and relevant meetings to ensure environmental aspects being raised, and having daily dialogues with various stakeholders and partners to establish professional relationships fast and effectively
  • Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Minimum relevant master’s degree within environmental engineering, environmental science and legislation, sustainability or similar
  • Full working proficiency in both Danish and English, both orally and written
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with environmental work, ideally from pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory environment.

You are good at communication and training, and you can communicate complex subjects in a simple way. You have a qualitative and analytical mindset with a proactive, structured, and systematic approach to tasks. About the department You will be a part of two organisations, your daily work will be anchored in the newly established project organisation KNSF and the team working with the Sustainability Workpackage already consisting of a PM, an environmental partner and a Health and Safety partner. You will also be part of the Environment, Health & Safety department at NNPR with 17 highly engaged, experienced, and qualified seasoned professionals, technicians, administrative and a student assistant who work diligently to support the entire value chain, from Research & Development to Production and Sales & Marketing.
