Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest more than DKK42 billion to expand existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg, to support the current and future company portfolio within serious chronic diseases. We are hiring experienced colleagues within Process Engineering to join the investment project. Would you like to join a dynamic global company and work on an exciting new capacity expansion project? The Position As a Process Engineer for Raw Material and Solvents, you will participate in project activities for design, constructability, schedule, and cost for a new purification facility.
Highly skilled team performs all activities related to operational and engineering readiness of our new freeze-drying facility. Your main tasks will be to:
• participate in project activities such as design review, design risk assessments, FAT and SAT
• provide test and documentation; ensure qualification of raw material and solvents
• manage project risks proactively and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency
• keep the team focused on implementing reliable solutions and develop new design solutions where relevant
• take an active part in a competent user organization, integrated with engineering partners, and collaborate with contractors while supervising their activities We are open to adjusting the tasks and the level of the position to your experience. Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
• a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineer, natural sciences, or similar
• 1+ year of experience within GMP, ideally in API manufacturing
• an understanding of unit operations, pharmaceutical processes and documentation
• knowledge and experience related to design review and qualification of API processes is a plus
