The Position As a Utility Supporter, you will be responsible for Waste systems in a manufacturing facility construction project. The main principle will be to implement the best design standards from other existing facilities. The main tasks will be to:
• write and review specification of all designs, and ensure installation of equipment
• participate in the establishment of a competent user organization, while working on integration with engineering partners and cooperating with existing production areas
• choose suppliers and perform ongoing follow-up with them from start to finish
• perform structural checks of the constructions
• do follow ups and keep track of changes Additional tasks include providing commissioning and qualification, as well as development of Standard Operating Procedures (SAP), and ensuring maintenance training when needed.
You will also need to assess any project risks and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine you:
• have bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar. It is a plus if you have a degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering (Maskinmester). Skilled technicians are invited to apply
• have knowledge of cooling liquids, steam, compressed air, vacuum and oxygen
• have experience with black utility systems as Waste Systems, Process Air, Process-water or cooling systems
• have an understanding of technical documents such as URS, SAT, FAT, validation protocols and complicated product documentation
• are fluent in written and oral English On a personal level, you enjoy close teamwork, and are motivated by others. You like working in a multicultural environment that requires independence to make decisions. About the department
API Project Utility is a team of Engineers with responsibility for Clean and Black Utility in a manufacturing facility construction project. Currently consists of 11 engineers and 3 Project Managers who are working closely with other disciplines in the construction project. About Novo Nordisk Kalundborg
