In API Manufacturing Development (MDev), we are looking for a new colleague to join as Automation Technician for Technical Purification Facility. Apply today and join us for a life-changing career ! The position We are expanding the facility with new unit operations within purification while also exploring the possibilities of expanding the facility with a fermentation and recovery section. Your tasks vary greatly from day to day and you will have the opportunity to collaborate and coordinate across different professional groups. Your main tasks will be: Be involved in relevant PLC and other automation projects Handle the daily support of IT systems and automation equipment in a pilot facility Troubleshoot software and ensure that production runs as smooth as possible Qualifications We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites: Background as Automation Technician, IT Technician, IT Supporter, Data Technician or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of technical experience Ability to perform PLC coding & programming Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens Step 7, TIA portal) and IT infrastructure Experience or strong knowledge in troubleshooting and problem solving Preferably, experience in the pharmaceutical or equivalent industry As a person you are detail-oriented, good at collaboration, proactive, and you like being where things happen. About the department The department is situated within the Manufacturing Development organisation. The Department is responsible for producing technical API for development purposes and developing and testing new technologies within API production. We are currently a team of 17 employees consisting of process engineers and technicians with different professional backgrounds. It is considered important that the organisation is built with people of diverse professional backgrounds and approaches to solve issues.
