Key responsibilities
The specialist is responsible for driving standardization and centralization of business and system processes across the Global Cold Store estate. Translating business requirements into new features in the Maersk Cold Chain logistics. You will ensure the operating procedures are aligned with any changes with an aim to ensure we meet customer compliance requirements. Develop and foster a culture of continuous improvement to delight our customers. The Global Implementation Specialist is expected to shape and lead the implementation projects for Cold stores across the world.
· Lead and drive implementation planning and execution of Cold Stores globally
· Understand and communicate customer business requirements
· Drive standardization and centralization of business and system processes for Cold Store assets.
· Own development of Cold Store business processes through collaboration with implementation team and Tech platform.
· Define and control Cold Store E2E business processes with Cold store BPO
· Support the development of improvements by leveraging system functionality
· Ensure the operational platform remains up-to-date based on required improvements
· Assess business and customer needs to determine system requirements
· Prioritize, plan, test, and implement new system release and developments for Cold store facilities
· Support the business during go-live events for new business and/or systems, including hypercare support
· Ensure processes are properly documented, stored and shared to business unit through the creation of SOPs/IOPs for Cold store operations.
· Responsible for process governance and adherence to defined standard operating processes
· Provide system training and user support to Cold Store facilities globally.
We are looking for
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred,
· 8+ years Transportation and/or Warehousing/ Cold store Distribution industry experience.
· Must be able to travel up to 50% - Global
Soft Skills:
· Self-starter attitude that can work with minimal supervision
· Think strategically to be able to influence others
· Able to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities
· Strong conceptual abilities- able to translate complex issues into ideas and actions
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
· Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks
· Strong customer service mindset, toward both internal and external customers
· Understanding of project and implementation management methodologies
