• Denmark - Køge Are you experienced in working with synthetic organic chemistry, and are you familiar with working in a pilot plant? If yes, you can now be a part of a Manufacturing Development department, were there isn’t long from idea to action.
The job
Your main responsibilities will be to develop and optimize our Quats portfolio in close collaboration with our Quats Scientist. You will play an essential role in conducting experiments with organic compounds and testing in laboratory scale. This includes testing of packaging materials, such as stress crack tests.
In addition, you will have a key role in our Pilot Plant facility when we are GMP campaign producing, as well as performing non GMP experiments. You will carry out daily planning of your work, perform analysis and evaluate result. You will record and report your scientific work and share your learnings with the team, project teams and other colleagues. You will work closely together with other laboratory technicians and scientists within the team and the department.
Qualifications
You must be educated as a Laboratory Technician, preferably with some years of experience. It would be ideal if you have:
• Experience with synthetic organic chemistry
• Knowledge of reactions of organic compounds
• Practical experience with HPLC and Elementary Analysis (EA)
• Knowledge of mass spectrometry (MS) and gas chromatography (GC)
• Practical experience with working in a Pilot Plant facility is an advantage
• Experience with GMP is an advantage As a person, we imagine that you are a proactive team player, with courage to explore new methods in the laboratory and interest in following and developing processes from small scale to reactor scale. You have good attention to detail and are conscious of working safe in the laboratory.
With a 'can do' attitude, you are able to cope with changes and embrace learnings.
About the department
The Manufacturing Development department at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech in Køge comprises 36 dedicated employees across three teams. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of a team of 9 laboratory technicians and scientists, focusing on developing and supplying novel materials for therapeutic protein manufacturing in the biopharmaceutical industry.
