Our talented staff is our signature. We have a highly creative atmosphere with around 55 full-time employees in 3 sections. We have an informal culture, and we can laugh, party, and be very serious about what we do. We love our users and collaborators, and we love to tell all the great stories about the projects and activities running in DTU Skylab, including building rockets, farming snails, developing laboratory robots, digital services, student associations, international summits, and airborne wind turbines.
You’ll work within an experienced, passionate, and diverse Operations team consisting of 11 colleagues with various backgrounds and tasks in our house (facility, events, admin, communication).
You will become a part of a culture and organization in constant development, meaning that this position will give you a solid bang for the buck in your communication career.
As sustainability is an integral part of our activities and programs at DTU and DTU Skylab, we also hope you are passionate about making a positive impact in society through your position.

Terms of employment
We expect the appointment to be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organizations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State) or the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
Working hours are on average 12 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is 1 May 2024 (or according to mutual agreement).
You will be employed at DTU Skylab, and the workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus, Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark.

Work tasks
Your main tasks will be to:
- Create engaging and sharp content for SoMe and web with everything from writing engaging stories to making fun reels – we consider ourselves quite open to new ideas!
- Assist with maintaining our website (No coding experience needed!)
- Assist with video production and interviews.
- Bring new content ideas to the table for our platforms.
- Ad-hoc communication tasks (covering visits, staff photos, among other things).
- Support with visual communication tasks (We use Adobe and Canva).
- Assist and help with data analysis from our digital platforms.
Requirements
To succeed in the role, you:
- Study Communications or a similar degree.
- Know how to write engaging and clear content in both English and Danish.
- Know how social media works and current trends.
- Are interested in the world of tech, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- Possess great teamwork skills.
- Are proactive and have a positive attitude to solving tasks.
- Know your way around in creative apps from Adobe.
