With reference to our Head of Core IT Services, you will become part of our internal IT organisation, which enables all Kamstrup employees in their daily work. Our IT department consists of 50+ dedicated colleagues supporting all Kamstrup divisions globally. More specifically, you will be a key player in the operation of our network infrastructure supporting both Kamstrup’s services for customers as well as Kamstrup internal infrastructure globally. The team is characterized with high professional standards and a mutual excellent corporation.
A job with focus on ACI, VPN and core network
In the position as Datacenter & Network Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support the operation of our ACl platform with a special focus on supporting Kamstrup’s Solution and Service Delivery division that directly support Kamstrup’s customers. In addition, you will drive the development of ACI for all of Kamstrup globally and will thus play an important part in Kamstrup’s datacentre operations. On top of the operational tasks, you will be a key internal advisor for Kamstrup’s customer systems, where you will act as an important link between Kamstrup’s IT department and our customers’ network solutions.
More specifically, your tasks include:
Personality matters
There are several entry points to this position as your educational background is not crucial. However, we expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ of experience as a Network Specialist, Network Consultant or similar. Knowledge of infrastructure development within networking and experience with Cisco Firepower operations will be considred a great advantage.
Furthermore, it is a requirement that you are experienced in:
As a person, you are ambitious and have a structured approach to your tasks. You take initiative and are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You are able to work in a complex organisation, and your excellent communication skills enable you to navigate with many stakeholders, deadlines and timelines. As you will be working closely with another Network Specialist in many aspects of your work it is also essential that you are a good team player..
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish will be an advantage.

- Performing maintenance of network infrastructure with an emphasis on ACI, SDA, ISE and firewalls
- Analysing business requirements to ensure better alignment in the development of networking services
- Performing troubleshooting and resolve network related problems on day to day basis across a wide range of infrastructure components
- Providing remote or onsite technical support
- Informing of developments in network technologies, and infrastructure
